- 基本資格（示例）：

外國人可透過 投資設立公司或擔任公司經理人 取得居留（需符合投資實績等條件）↓
- 公司經理人或投資者 可申請工作許可與外僑居留證。 
- 一般投資門檻示例：新台幣 50 萬至美金 20 萬資金（視方案）。

- 可以先申請尋職簽證（最長 180 天），找到工作後由雇主申請工作許可與居留證。

- 持有居留證並 合法居留台灣連續滿 5 年，每年實際居住 >=183 天，可申請永久居留。

Main Pathways for Long-Term Residency and Immigration to Taiwan↓
- Employment Gold Card
The Employment Gold Card is a 4-in-1 integrated visa designed for highly skilled foreign professionals. It combines a work permit, residence visa, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and multiple re-entry permit, allowing holders the flexibility to freely choose employers or change jobs.
It offers tax incentives and allows applicants to include their spouse and minor children under dependent applications.
It is suitable for professionals in fields such as technology, finance, management, design, and other specialized industries.
2.Entrepreneur Visa
The Entrepreneur Visa is specifically designed for foreign nationals who wish to establish innovative startups or new business ventures in Taiwan.
Key Features:
No need to establish a company prior to applying.
Initially granted a 2-year residence visa, with the option to apply for extensions within Taiwan.
Up to three team members may apply together.
Eligible to apply for government-backed youth entrepreneurship loans.
Basic Eligibility (Examples):
Secured domestic or international investment funding (e.g., at least NT$2 million).
Possess professional expertise, patents, or demonstrated innovative capabilities.
- Obtaining Residency through Direct Investment or Company Establishment
Foreign nationals may obtain residency in Taiwan by investing in and establishing a company or by serving as a company manager (subject to meeting investment performance and other regulatory requirements).
Company managers or investors may apply for a work permit and an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).
Typical investment thresholds range from NT$500,000 to USD 200,000, depending on the specific program.
If the company reaches certain revenue benchmarks or continues stable operations, residency may be extended. After five consecutive years of legal residency, individuals may apply for permanent residency (APRC).
- Job-Seeking Visa and Employment-Based Immigration
This pathway is suitable for foreign professionals who wish to come to Taiwan first to seek employment.
Applicants may apply for a Job-Seeking Visa (valid for up to 180 days). Once employment is secured, the employer will apply for a work permit and residence permit on behalf of the applicant.
- Permanent Residency (APRC – Alien Permanent Resident Certificate)
Foreign nationals who have held a valid residence permit and legally resided in Taiwan for five consecutive years — with physical presence of at least 183 days per year — may apply for permanent residency.
Under the investment immigration pathway (e.g., investing NT$15 million and creating employment opportunities), applicants may apply without being subject to the standard residency duration requirement.
